I have devoted time over the last six years to hobby robotics and programming of the Atmel AVR® series of micro controllers. It was a return to my roots as a designer of embedded processors for industrial, medical and communications industries. As a result of my work I have developed a small real time operating system (RTOS) that I call AvrX, short for AVR Executive. AvrX has undergone three major revisions over the years.
