Digital Receipts System

An interesting crossover between hardware (MCU, card reader, display) and software (PHP web server) by Cornell University students.

I'm a "web application architect" in my job, so this project, connecting my belowed HW and web app, logically attracts me. The idea is simple: "When making a purchase with a credit or ATM card, the transaction information is automatically packaged and sent to a webserver where it can be logged in a database. A web interface would then allow consumers to log into their accounts and view their transactions online all in one place."

Take a look how Hain-Lee and Qinfeng does it: Digital Receipts System
